We were absolutely thrilled to be approached by garden designer Michela Trinca, to feature some of our pots on her balcony garden ‘La Mia Venezia’ at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flowershow. Michela created the garden based on her own experience of living in Italy, with it being an homage to Venice and Italian heritage. With already being on her radar through her work at Kate Gould Gardens Michela thought that our pots would be the perfect details for her design. “Italian Terrace pots have just the right balance between classic and contemporary in design and with exquisite quality of course. I especially enjoyed choosing a range and being able to borrow ‘used’ pots made sense to me from a sustainability point of view.”
Mark Tibbetts, office manager at Italian Terrace, spoke about how delighted we were to be asked to be featured on such a beautiful garden: “It is always exciting to be used on the different gardens at RHS Chelsea, so when Michela approached us we were thrilled. She is an incredible designer, with her creativity and attention to detail being impeccable. Working with her over the months before the show, and afterwards, was such an amazing experience.”
Below are some photos of the garden, highlighting the spectacular attention to detail. All imagery is credited to Clive Nichols.
