Today marks 1 week until the return of the world famous RHS Chelsea flower show, and much like the weather (finally!), the excitement is really hotting up.
Traditionally, Chelsea has been synonymous with flawless, meticulously planned displays of high-end garden design. While stunning aesthetics of course remain a hallmark, the last few years have seen a real shift in the focus of the show. Designers are reaching beyond mere beauty, delving into the profound impact gardens have on our lives and the world around us, and what we, as gardeners, can do to help. From environmental concerns to mental and physical well-being, these themes have been gaining momentum, and this year sounds like it will be the most yet.
As always we will be having our usual stand at Chelsea, but unlike usual, you will see a rather different appearance to it. Whether it be all this talk of change and reflection, or perhaps the final grip of Lock-down shell shock leaving us, we felt like something new was in order. Come by and have a look for yourselves at stand SW314 on main avenue.
We will also have a number of our pots dotted elsewhere around the show; more to be revealed about that when the show opens next week…!
