As the dark nights and wintery weather start to envelop us, we sense those Christmassy feelings start to arise, and how suddenly it all seems to be upon us. So just for fun we decided to put together a list of some of the things we would love to receive this Christmas…
We love David Austin Roses and we use them each year for displays in our pots at Chelsea. Always reliable is Desdemona, a white with the palest pink tinge. Also love Roald Dhal, an apricot yellow. Great quality and they work brilliantly in our deeper pots.
Highgrove is on the bucket list, we have the book, and many people we speak to have been able to visit. Lots of lovely pots and vases there to inspire. Fingers crossed when travel restrictions are lifted we will be able to go.

Anything Stuart-Smith is wonderful, and with so many great reviews we are sure that is the case with this book written by Sue, Toms wife. Its topic is ever more relevant and important following the year we have all had, and with next year still being an unknown, perhaps a read of this will help.
This is in the realms of armchair winter gardening (fits in your stocking too). A fantastic gift for any keen gardener to help preserve plants for the future. There is even the chance to ‘Save a species’ as well.
PKS bronze and copper garden tools are brilliant for the garden soil and your hands. We have a trowel, now want to add to it.
Naturally this is on the list. We have quite a few planted at our Suffolk garden and display area, but surely there is room to always squeeze in more?
