Thank you for your help and for a very efficient service. V. Wright Nottinghamshire.

Now is the time to care for your terracotta pots.

Italian Terrace pots are designed to withstand the British winter, but there are a few things to do before you head inside to hibernate in front of the fire this winter.

1. Lift your pot off the ground using pot feet.

2. Check the drainage hole is clear of soil and roots. Also snails do like to hibernate there.

3. Make sure that your pot is lined inside with the terram above the crock.

4. Empty out the water from your water features and wrap up the pump to protect it from splitting.

5. Look forward to the bulbs popping up in the spring

We woke this morning to the first snow fall of this winter, only to see this poppy with a light dusting of snow. Happy Christmas!

We are excited to announce that Italian Terrace will be at “Les Journées des Plantes Courson” south of Paris. This wonderful plant exhibition runs from 14th to 16th October 2011, we look forward to seeing you there!

Never thought I would plant what I have always considered to be a weed in a pot. However the Lavatera Barnsley Pink (mallow) has been splendid. No regrets and will be chopping back a little this year and then a big chop after frosts in Spring. Its been great value in everyway. A small 2 litre pot plant has filled our big Vaso Classico 95cm pot in no time with a fantastic display all summer.

We are very pleased to announce that Italian Terrace is now represented in the USA.  A selection of our pots will be on display from mid-September at Logan Gardens in Atlanta, Georgia.  Logan Gardens shares our appreciation for the best outdoor ornaments, accessories and furniture and considered by many Georgia-based designers to be the place to go for inspiration and choice for both exterior and interior projects.  We will be holding an open day with our new US friends this autumn to launch the display (details to follow).

“The Italian Terrace gives excellent service, excellent quality, everything. I am absolutely delighted. ”

“Italian Terrace’s pots are a wonderful combination of classic chic designs and excellent performance – happily surviving the last two severe winters, with the help of clear instructions on planting and drainage.  Also highly recommended are the wall plaques which make lovely wedding or birthday presents”.

We are delighted to have a collection of our pots at the nursery in Lostwithiel. The new shop/visitor centre and cafe was officially opened this July by HRH Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

It is postistioned in the most divine setting overlooking the valley and out towards Restormel Castle. Well worth a visit, wonderful plants, a great range of trees and the best of everything for your garden, estate or balcony.
